Lerin is a new Miami-based athletic apparel company that strives to be both functional and fashionable. Created by Rachel Schultz of Transition Pilates, this fitness brand was created to withstand high-impact workouts and help you look good while you do it.
Schultz has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years as an athlete, marathon runner, trainer, brand ambassador, and Pilates studio owner. After years of wearing fitness apparel, Schultz grew frustrated by clothing that couldn't perform in a high impact environment and decided it was time to create her own athletic apparel line.
Lerin has been two years in the making, as Schultz would not release a product that she would not stand behind. In addition to being supportive for high intensity workouts, Lerin is also designed to be fashonable. With technological advances in fabric, this was an opportune time to produce a line that's comfortable, functional, and has a sleek minimalist design.
The collection includes sets with mesh inserts, strappy sports bras, different sleeve lengths, color blocks and varying styles of leggings, each designed to mix and match interchangeably.
Inspired by Schultz' German heritage, the name Lerin is derived from the word 'sportslerin,' which means female athlete in German. As a female entrepreneur, Schultz has had her own Pilates studio and is now launching another women-owned company where she will offer jobs and internships to empower other women. Each piece of clothing is going to be named after a woman to honor this.
