The downtown YMCA is celebrating Mindful May with two upcoming events on Saturday, May 22.

The first event is a special stretch class focusing on your back and hip flexors. During this yoga class, you will combine static stretches with a dynamic flow to help release tension in the upper and lower back, as well as open the hip flexors. Therabands and foam rollers will be used for more depth and the class will end with relaxation and positive affirmations.

This class will be held at the downtown YMCA from 8:45 am - 10:00 am and is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.

The second event is an outdoor yoga class at the Tina Hills Pavilion Bayfront Park. This free event will be held from 9 am - 10:30 am. Participants must register to attend and can do so at ymcasouthflorida.org/masterclass.
