After the COVID pandemic forced them to change their plans for a grand opening at The Doral Yard, the team pivoted to focus on connecting with the della bowls community digitally through virtual cooking classes and their new digital cookbook.
della bowls’ core mission is to make healthy food delicious, affordable, and easily accessible. Now their recipes are in an easy-to-follow format, using simple ingredients that you can find almost anywhere. With the della bowls cookbook, you will be layering new textures and flavors and building your own bowls.
All della bowls generally follow the magic number 5 to make what they call ‘healthy bowls of happy.’ The 5 components of every bowl are base + protein + veggies + sauce + boost. The globally-inspired bowls in their cookbook include five house favorite bowls, like the Dalé Bowl, stacked with vibrant layers of brown rice, refried black beans, cashew queso, pico de gallo, panelle, and Verde Sauce, and the Caribbean Bowl, packed with marinated kale, coconut black forbidden rice, toasted coconut, plantains, avocado, and Yellow Sauce.
