MADabolic, a strength-driven internal training franchise created in North Carolina, now has their first gym in Florida. Located in Palm Beach County, this location can be found at 901 W Indiantown Road in Jupiter.
MADabolic prioritizes strength training as the base of their workouts instead of over-emphasizing cardio. Using interval training, the entire workout is crafted around work-to-rest ratios, making the class accessible to all ability levels. This purposeful approach claims to provide unmatched results.
There are three different class types, which create the word MAD with their first letters.
- Momentum is an energetic fusion of athleticism and endurance, where participants can expect a gradual build in pace and intensity.
- Anaerobic is a combination of speed and power, and really highlights the difference between just exercising and actually training.
- Durability is for strength and stamina. Time under tension is a critical element of the programming for those classes.
Regardless of the class style, exercises are set up in different lanes that have weights and goals pre-determined to match different ability levels. After the coach demos exercises, there is the chance to test out the weights to determine your lane for the class. Coaches circle the floor during the workout to ensure great form. The sense of teamwork and music create a great energy in the room.
MADabolic is currently offering an introductory rate of 5 days of workouts for $5. After that, there are month to month or annual contracts available depending on your level of commitment.
