Traditional Jamaican meets health-conscientious with Jrk! in Aventura. This new restaurant has chef-inspired dishes using high-quality ingredients in a fast-casual environment.

Owner Harrison Berstein grew up loving Jamaican cuisine, influenced by Kavan Burke. Kavan Burke housed Wayne Sharpe for free when he initially moved here from Jamaica until he moved to Atlanta to open his first restaurant. Once Harrison and Kavan decided to join forces and open Jrk!, they convinced Wayne to move back to Miami and the rest was history.

At Jrk! your meal is served bowl-style with a combination of bases, proteins, and toppings. Choose from one of the signature bowls, or make your own. Proteins include Jerk BBQ, Jamrock Pepper Steak, and Oxtail. For vegans, there is even Vegan Jerk. Some of the mouth-watering topping options are Pineapple Plantain, Cabbage Slaw, Pineapple Mango Salsa, Sweet Scotch Bonnet Cauliflower, and Jerk Peppers and Onion. Top off your bowl with a number of sauces with names like Rude Boy and The Tropics.

Finish your meal with a chocolate or pineapple 305 Rum Cake. The restaurant also carries a range of juices, Jamaican sodas, beer, and wine.

Jrk! is open from 11:30 am - 8 pm Sunday through Wednesday, and 11:30 am - 8:30 pm Thursday through Saturday.

Find Jrk! on the third-floor food hall at the Aventura Mall, 19565 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura. For more information head to eatjrk.com or check them out on social media at @eatjrk on Instagram and Facebook and even TikTok.
