Peloton previewed its long-anticipated rowing machine during their annual Homecoming event last Friday. And by previewed we mean that they showed a trainer pulling on a rowing machine. They also tweeted out a rowing emoji.

Peloton’s annual Homecoming event is where they announce new products, features, and content. It’s also a chance for members to take live classes taught by their favorite instructors and attend special panel discussions. This year, the biggest announcement was that Peloton officially confirmed a rower is coming.

From what you could see, the device has a similar look as the company’s other machines. Timing is unknown at this point with Peloton only sharing that it is "coming soon." The new device will add to a product lineup that includes entry-level and high-end bikes, as well as a treadmill.

“Peloton will be bringing its best-in-class fitness experience to the world of rowing! Combining cardio and strength — Peloton is excited to add this total body workout into its powerhouse arsenal of content," said the company.

At its Homecoming event, Peloton also announced a variety of other new features, including the ability to schedule group workouts and track non-Peloton activities in the app. The company also announced plans to re-open their New York and London studios for member workouts but did not give a timeline.
