Since opening in summer 2020, GluteHouse has remained at membership capacity.... until now. The Miami studio dedicated to building the best behinds in Miami is announcing the expansion of their current location for a major glow up that officially opens to the public on September 26.
“It’s really tough to put into words the excitement I have about all the work we’ve done towards our expansion. Over the last 2+ years, we have seen so many members transform their mentality towards training,” said Adam Becker, Founder of GluteHouse. “They are getting so strong and confident both inside and outside of the gym, and I am so pumped for 250+ new members to give us the opportunity to play a role in their journey towards health, fitness, happiness and building the butt they’ve always wanted!”
Almost tripling the size of the current facility, the expansion will include more than 20 state-of-the-art machines focused on the lower body, TVs demonstrating the movements at each station, a new reception and retail area, a full shower and vanity area plus several new spots to take the perfect “belfie."
GluteHouse removes all of the guesswork out of lower body and glute training with a unique structured program. Guided by the studio’s mobile app and the assistance of a floor coach, members participate in a circuit-style strength training program for 50-60 minutes. A new session starts every 10 minutes, making it easy for members to fit their workout into their schedule. Floor coaches help correct form and answer any questions members may have during the workout. Every four weeks, also known as a cycle, members are provided with new programming.
For the very first time, potential new members can now reserve a spot to try a GluteHouse workout at the studio’s Open Houses being held this September. Members will be guided by GluteHouse coaches during the 50 minute workout, have the opportunity to secure a founding membership rate, and get access to the facility’s app in addition to receiving an exclusive invite to the Glow Up Launch Party on Saturday, September 17.
“GluteHouse training takes it back to the fundamentals to get results. Our members learn proper lifting techniques & follow a strategically designed program to help them achieve their booty goals,” said Carla Dallmann, Director of Training and Operations at GluteHouse. “We help members get stronger, become confident lifters, and have an absolute blast while on their glute-building journeys!”
GluteHouse is open seven days per week and is located at 92 SW 3rd Street, #CU2, Miami, FL 33130 along the Miami River. Memberships start at $99/cycle and include two 50-60 minute workouts per week. Those looking to join and start on September 26 can visit glute-house.com/join-fall-2022.

Vertical barriers are expected to be installed on the most hazardous stretches of bike lanes on the Rickenbacker Causeway after a couple was killed while cycling there over the weekend, according to a plan made public by county administrators on Tuesday.
While details aren’t final, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said her administration plans to install the barriers on stretches of the causeway considered dangerous for cyclists as part of a $250,000 upgrade that she ordered this week.
On Sunday, cyclists Yaudys Vera, 48, and Ogniana Reyes, 46, were killed by a collision with an automobile on the county-run causeway connecting Key Biscayne with Miami, reviving demands by biking-safety advocates for solid dividers between bike lanes and traffic lanes.
“It’s a short-term measure to address certain areas,” Levine Cava said of the barriers the Department of Transportation and Public Works plans to install along Rickenbacker bike lanes. “I don’t know that, in the long term, if that will be the answer.”

If you are looking for a graceful approach to your workouts, try Ballet Flow. The new workout is popping up at locations across Miami Beach this summer, with plans to launch at app soon as well.
Ballet Flow consists of simple, full body conditioning workouts done to a fusion of house music and classic music. The ballet-inspired classes are a balance between low impact exercises, technical ballet movements, and fast-paced combinations. These workouts target and tone lean muscles in legs, glutes, core, and the upper body with grace.
Ballet Flow is a unique approach to fitness and wellness thanks to their artistic approach. Classes require a mat and light 1-4 pound hand weights or bangle weights.
"Ballet Flow workout program/class is developed by what a dancer does on the center of the floor or mat to train, strengthen, and condition their bodies," says Natalia Cordero, Creative Director of Ballet Flow. " It incorporates more muscles and uses the full body to perform the movements. Dancers are looked as regal, graceful and most importantly strong. I want to bring out the dancer in you. Simple movements with beautiful results."
This ballet-inspired workout is popping up at two hotels in Miami Beach. Find it at Hotel Greystone on Monday, June 16 and The Sagamore Hotel South Beach on Monday, June 23. The pop up classes will have a Live DJ and sponsors that include Body Armor and The Mentis Company. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Lotus House Women's shelter.
These classes are the start of Ballet Flows partnership with both hotels, offering classes every Thursday. Look for Ballet Flow's new app for on-demand workouts and live streaming by the end of the summer.
The drop in rate for classes is $20 for your first time, and $30 for each time after. There is also a special 8-class pack for $128 or a monthly membership for $79.99. For those who attend the June launch events, there will also be a special monthly membership promotion.

The City of Miami Beach and luxury residential development Five Park invite the community to join them for a celebratory ribbon-cutting event. On Wednesday, May 18 at 5 pm, they will be welcoming a sprawling 3-acre resilient park at 600 Alton Road. This important addition is set to transform the South Beach experience and connect neighboring communities in a way that’s never been done before.
“Instead of a massive wall of rental units, we now have this exquisite greenspace in a neighborhood where no one has a backyard,” said City of Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber. “This park will quickly become a welcomed amenity for nearby residents and a favorite gathering spot for our entire community.”
As part of the celebration, attendees will have the opportunity to explore all the park has to offer, including an outdoor gym, dog park, public art sculpture by Miami-based artist Mark Handforth and a whimsical playground designed by MONSTRUM. Additionally, guests can marvel at the park’s lush landscaping, canopies of native and exotic trees and hundreds of vibrant orchids planted as part of The One Million Orchid Project in partnership with the National Orchid Garden and Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Once visitors have thoroughly explored the amenity, they can enjoy light bites from Bodega, a sweet treat from Santos Churros as well as local, organic dog treats from Bowie Bites for their four-legged friends.
Aside from being a central gathering space, the yet-to-be named park at 600 Alton Rd. addresses a variety of sustainability issues on Miami Beach. With nearly 40 different plant and tree species throughout, the park plays an important environmental role to balance ecosystems, mitigate soil erosion, decrease urban heating effects, provide habitats for threatened animals and protect watersheds from destructive floods with a newly built bioswale.
The park was developed by TCH 500 Alton, LLC, a partnership between two of Miami Beach’s deepest-rooted real estate developers: David Martin and Russell Galbut. The development team, which is also behind the neighboring Five Park residential tower, constructed and donated the park to the City of Miami Beach’s Parks & Recreation Department as a gift to the community’s residents and visitors.
“The park will be a gateway for the City of Miami Beach, a destination for visitors, and an everyday amenity for residents, so we’ve taken the time to assemble a team of visionaries who have led some of the most transformational projects in the world,” said developer Russell Galbut of TCH 500 Alton, LLC. “We’ve created a vibrant community asset that brings people together while providing a design experience that rivals public spaces in the world’s greatest cities.”
“The park was designed with beautiful aesthetics in mind but also serves a broader environmental purpose,” said developer David Martin of TCH 500 Alton, LLC. “Its innovative sustainability and resiliency attributes will benefit not only the future residents of the adjacent Five Park tower, but also the entire surrounding neighborhood.”
The City of Miami Beach and luxury residential development Five Park invite the community to join them for a celebratory ribbon-cutting event. On Monday, May 16 at 4 pm, they will be welcoming a sprawling 3-acre resilient park at 600 Alton Road. This important addition is set to transform the South Beach experience and connect neighboring communities in a way that’s never been done before.
